We made it through September! The first weeks of school are always challenging; this year's soaring temps and crazy bee population didn't help, but October is here!
I will be attending the NYSUT Member Benefits conference in October, and will have information on some of their newest benefits.
We had our legal team from Feldman, Kramer & Monaco here in late August, doing will-writing, they will be back on Friday October 13th doing wills, and also for signings if you had your will done at a prior visit.
The lobbying continues to FIxTierSix for our newest members. Click here for information about the ways in which Tier 6 is simply not acceptable and ways we can help as NYSUT takes the lead on this fight in Albany.
If you have not already registered on the MAC Member Action Center, that is the best way to stay current with updates and actions you can take to help in this effort.

NYSUT has issued their endorsements for the Suffolk County Legislature, their list is attached here.
If you enrolled in the new Davis Vision plan in June, you should have received your cards and information about the plan, directly from Davis. If you did not enroll and wish to do so, you can still fill out the form and return it to Patricia.Bonura@Longwoodcsd.org, you will get your cards in a month or so after enrolling.
