I hope you all had a great first week of school! I have a few things to report as we start the year...
First, Dr. Lonergan has agreed once again, to continue our attendance incentive. This is great news and hopefully something that many of us can benefit from this year. The details can be found on page 27 of our contract.
Next, we are waiting for NYSED to release their guidance and details on submitting the new APPR plans for approval, based on the new regulations that were passed last April. Once they do so, MITA and the district will negotiate the terms of the APPR and the new plan will be distributed.
Also, please remember that Thursdays are MITA SHRT days! Wear your MITA gear!
