Message from President Josephine Libassi
As we head into Labor Day weekend and get ready for the new school year, it's important to remember the meaning behind the holiday. All the brilliant ideas in the world, all the good intentions, all of the organized planning and motivated spirits, are all essentially useless without labor to bring them to fruition. For all MITA members, this will soon become once again a daily reality as our students return to our classrooms on Tuesday. Teaching is hard work, no one needs to tell us that. Together, we have the strength and power to meet the challenges facing us as we start a new year. Your MITA Officers and Building Representatives stand ready to assist as the year begins! We are here for you! Have a Happy Healthy and Safe Labor Day Weekend!
One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man. - Elbert Hubbard
