Lawrence TA is going on 13 years without a contract. They are asking for support as they rally in their community of Cedarhurst on Sunday April 23rd from 10AM to Noon. See attached flyer! We'll be back in Middle Island by 1PM.
We would like to provide a bus, from the MITA office to the rally location which is TBD at this point. We will supply bagels and coffee etc. and leave our cars at the office while we go support them as a group, wearing our RED! If we get a big turn out and need more parking, we can leave from one of the school buildings.
I will be sending out a sign up just for head count purposes, which will help us with what kind of bus we need, or if we need more than one.
